Our Company
has achieved a .63 Experience Modification
Rating (EMR) for 2008, one of the lowest in the State of Wisconsin. An
EMR is used to determine worker’s compensation premiums. Our .63 rating
means we pay 63% of what the average construction company pays in worker’s
compensation premiums.

and subcontractors, we solicit bids for all phases of work
- Ellis competitively bids 85% - 95% of the total
cost of each project
- All Project Superintendents have completed the Associated
General Contractors of America “Supervisory Training Program”. Completion
of the project is a 3-4 year commitment
- Superintendent average length of service with Ellis
is over 19 years. Most have years of additional experience
in the construction industry

over 30 years
